P&G recognises Talk PR as a top performing partner across its global supply network

Talk PR has been recognised by The Procter & Gamble Company (P&G) as a top performing partner across its global supply network, for our work on Dolce&Gabbana Beauty and James Bond 007 Fragrance. P&G recognised its top performing external business partners during an award ceremony on 23rd October at its annual External Business Partner Recognition Dinner in Cincinnati. The ceremony brought together senior executives from P&G and nearly 80 of P&G’s most strategic external business partners from around the world. Among P&G’s 82,000 global suppliers and agencies, just 0.1% received the coveted 2013 External Business Partner Excellence Award, so we’re honoured to be among the elite group of companies to have received this distinction.

The External Business Partner Excellence Award recognises superior and sustained levels of quality, service, operation, innovation, and competitiveness. This award was given to 77 of P&G’s 82,000 suppliers and agencies.

Talk PR boosts Social Media & Digital Offer

We’ve appointed Toby Schuster as head of social media and digital to help drive growth across our fashion, luxury, beauty & grooming, lifestyle technology and global divisions. Toby is heading up a cross-divisional social and digital task force of eight to oversee campaign development and integration within each of our specialist teams.

Toby joined us in summer 2012 as a consultant to work on several client projects as well as our participation in London’s Social Media Week last September. He has a background in UK and international consumer technology and brand PR and was most recently head of social media at a specialist food and drinks agency.

Our CEO, Jane Boardman, commented, “Social media and digital communications is a growing part of our offer, so we don’t believe it should sit in a silo but live and breathe across the business. Toby brings the right mix of strategic planning, meticulous implementation and technical know-how to lead a pan agency team of social and digital specialists and help Talk PR bring clients’ brands closer to consumers.”

Talk PR has acquired a majority interest in specialist boutique fashion and lifestyle pr agency, Store PR, which will merge with Talk’s existing fashion team to form a new division, Talk Store, on 18 March 2011.

Talk Store will be headed by Store PR founder, Tania Bard. Tania has run Store PR successfully for seven years by creating high profile, business building pr campaigns for clients including Daniel Hersheson, Hershesons Blow Dry Bar, Falke, Charlotte Ronson, Blue Inc, Built and Kelly Hoppen. Her team will work alongside Talk PR’s fashion team in a bespoke new studio space at Talk’s headquarters in Rathbone Place.

Jane Boardman, CEO of Talk PR comments “Fashion is an increasingly important part of our business with non-fashion clients valuing the connection to fashion’s influence. The creation of Talk Store will double the size of our fashion and luxury lifestyle offer and benefit all of our clients’ businesses. I’m delighted to welcome Tania Bard and her team to Talk PR. Tania’s energy, creativity and business flare will be a great asset to our business, complementing our unique combination of strategic thinking, vision and executional excellence”.

Tania Bard added, “Talk PR is one of the most respected pr agencies in London and I’m proud to be joining Jane and her team. This move will ensure that Store’s existing clients benefit from the scale and stature of a major agency, while maintaining the senior, hands-on pr service necessary to nurture and build brands effectively. This move will also give me the chance to work on developing the business offer further, particularly in the digital, production and celebrity arenas”.
